Short history
3d-figo®GmbH has been an expert in the development of additive manufacturing processes since 2014. We started with the development of the first 3D printer using the FDM process. Since then, we have been happy to advise our customers and find or develop the optimal additive manufacturing process for the requirements of our customers – cost-effectively, efficiently and professionally. The company name is derived from the Latin “figo” and means to build, to erect.
2009
Entry into additive manufacturing with the development of the first 3D printer using the FDM process.
2014
Foundation of the company 3d-figo®GmbH by Dr.-Ing. Philipp Schlautmann and Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kollenberg. Development of the first powder bed printer for ceramic components.
2015
Presentation of the FFD process for additive processing of CIM and MIM feedstocks.
